Join or Die: A Film About Why You Should Join a Club

Join or Die is a film about why you should join a club—and why the fate of America depends on it. Follow the story of America's civic unraveling through the journey of Robert Putnam, whose legendary "Bowling Alone" research into American community decline may hold the answers to our democracy's present crisis.

The film is being presented at the Aldrich Public Library on Tuesday September 24 in downtown Barre at 5:30 pm. The film will be followed with a reception at the nearby Barre Social Club at 105 Main Street #102. This viewing and reception are being brought to the community by Kiwanis Club of Barre VT, the City of Bare Vermont, Barre Lions Club, the Rotary Club of Barre Vermont, Aldrich Public Library, and Green Mountain United Way.
