There is much to celebrate tonight, Timothy.
Before you ring in the New Year, I want to take a moment and thank you for supporting the March of Dimes.
We celebrated our 75th anniversary this year. And people like you have enabled us to provide the care that has changed so many lives during this time.
Before the clock strikes midnight, make a tax-deductible donation of $25 or more. We can make the New Year a bright one for babies and families everywhere.
If you’ve already given, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Have a happy, healthy new year.
Happy New Year,

With your support and participation, Common Good Vermont helps nonprofit professionals across the state to become more efficient and effective.
We hope you’ll consider a year end contribution to Common Good Vermont– so we can continue to support Vermont’s thriving nonprofit community and help you to make a difference in the well-being of Vermont.
Your contribution of $35, $50 or $100 will provide a vote of confidence and help to fund 2014’s important work.
What Have We Done? In 2013, Common Good Vermont worked with its partners to deliver 21 events – workshops, conferences, webinars and gatherings on issues of concern to our sector attended by 1000 nonprofit leaders – executive directors, program staff, funders, consultants – from every subsector of our industry. Within the past two years, more than 700 individuals have received Results-Based Accountability training—including the Vermont Legislature!
How Well Have We Done? Common Good Vermont’s offerings are well-regarded and well-received. Participation and satisfaction grows steadily–from the weekly Vermont Nonprofit News (circulation 5000+) to www.CommonGoodVT.org (31,000 visits in 2013) to our sold-out signature events–Legislative Day, Vermont Nonprofit Conference, Leadership Vermont , and Media Maven Webcasts.
Is Anyone Better Off? Working with our trusted partners and supporters, Common Good Vermont has helped advance the “Culture of Accountability” within in our state. More organizations are able to measure what matters and use evidence to make important organizational decisions. This trend is moving quickly to the state level, where the Vermont Legislature, State Agencies and the Executive Branch are starting to use Results Based-Accountability to guide budget and policy decisions. Plus we delivered mission-critical know-how to our colleagues – from Job Postings, Funding Alerts timely news and information of import to the sector.
Testimony from our participants:
I gained a real, visceral understanding of the need for involving diverse leadership styles in problem-solving. Before, it was more of an intellectual understanding.
This was the first conference I have attended where both workshops were excellent! The purpose of the event was timely and relevant. I enjoyed the day and went home refreshed and have already begun implementing ideas obtained at the conference!
You have a wonderful program going. I can’t tell you what an irreplaceable resource CGVT is. Thanks for your help.
2014 promises to be an important year for our thriving nonprofit sector. Tight budgets and increased community pressure requires each of us to become more efficient and effective. Common Good Vermont will continue to focus on results, leadership and sustainability.
We appreciate your support and the vital work that you are doing to ensure the well-being of our beloved Vermont. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Happy New Year from all of us at Common Good Vermont,
Lauren-Glenn, Liz, Shelagh & Kathleen
