What a day at Twin City Lanes on the Barre-Montpelier Road! Fourteen teams from Central VT Medical Center, the Barre Kiwanis, the Montpelier Kiwanis, Blue Cross Blue Shield of VT, the Merchants Bank, Northfield Savings Bank, Peoples United Bank, SB Electronics and the Key Club at Spaulding High School competed and had a great time.
Bowlers raised funds through individual sponsorships with Tim Barre from the Northfield Savings Bank once again coming in at the top with the highest amount of donations winning him a $100 Wal Mart gift card. The “Hopeful Bowlers” from Northfield Savings Bank were the team with the highest amount raised winning each member a $25 Kurrle Fuels gas card. The team coming in second with amount raised was from SB Electronics. Each member received $10 gift cards from either Petco or VT Quicklube.
Todd Reichenberger won a $40 gift certificate from The Steak House for being the male with the most strikes. A $40 gift basket from Bath and Body Works was won by Donna Gagnon, the female with the most strikes. Tony Matz, the male with overall least number of strikes, won a $25 AmsOil gift basket. The female with overall least strikes, Amanda Shute, won a $25 Vermont Bobbin gift certificate.
High scoring male, Todd Reichenberger, won a $25 AmsOil gift basket, and high scoring female, Donna Gagnon, won a $25 Next Chapter Bookstore gift certificate. Chelsea Emmons, who recorded the absolute lowest score, won a $25 Soup N’Greens gift certificate.
Colored pin bowling and other fun games were played during the afternoon with coupons from Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Subway being awarded. Each strike also gained the bowler a lottery ticket or Lenny’s T-shirt or a United Way T-shirt.
