Description: Be a Community Hero. Become a GMTA Volunteer Driver! GMTA offers a unique opportunity through our Volunteer Driver Program where participants receive financial reimbursement for the miles they drive. By becoming a Volunteer Driver, you provide a ride through your personal vehicle to a person in need to places like the grocery store, pharmacy and medical appointments. You may commit to as little or as much time as your personal schedule allows. Your service directly supports community members in central Vermont who may be transit dependent, like seniors and individuals with disabilities, who need assistance in maintaining their independence. Requirements:- Valid Driver’s License
- Good Driving Record
- Valid car insurance
- Flexible Time to Share
