More InformationThe Community Restorative Justice Center seeks community volunteers for Restorative Justice panels, Reintegration program with Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA), and Neighborhood development. The amount of time is up to the volunteer. CoSA volunteers commit to 1 hour per week for a year. Restorative Justice Panel members meet 2 hours once a month. Neighborhood development is generally one meeting per month. TimeBank volunteers are needed at all times for many different community skills.
Location: Training and most meetings take place at 108 Cherry St. in St. Johnsbury, VT. Neighborhood meetings take place in your neighborhood.
Requirements: RJ Panels and CoSA require a Dept. of Corrections background check and 6 hours of training. The training is at no charge to the volunteer. Community Development and TimeBanking do not require the same background check - and all are welcome to participate.
