- VtSHARES (Vermont State Employees' Campaign)
The Vermont State Employees' Combined Charitable Appeal (VtSHARES) allows an annual, coordinated campaign to permit payroll deduction, thereby encouraging financial support from State employees for local, national and international charitable organizations. This campaign gives employees the opportunity to contribute over an entire year or to make a one-time gift.
Green Mountain United Way annually provides administrative support and is the liaison between the VtSHARES committee and the umbrella organization. For the Vermont counties of Caledonia, Essex, Orange, Orleans and Washington, Green Mountain United Way also acts as the umbrella organization. Charities must apply under an umbrella organization.
For more information about how an organization can apply for listing in the VtSHARES campaign, visit their web site at www.VtSHARES.vermont.gov, or email Nancy Zorn, or call Green Mountain United Way at 802-229-9532.
- Combined Federal Campaign (Federal Employees' Campaign)
The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the only authorized solicitation of Federal employees in their workplaces on behalf of approved charitable organizations. Participation of Federal employees is strictly voluntary.
