Micro Grant Funding
Thank you for your interest in Green Mountain United Way’s Micro Grant Funding. All applications for micro grant funding during FY12 (7/1/11 – 6/30/12) will be reviewed on a rolling basis while funds remain available. Upon approval, funding will be distributed to organizations in a one time payment.
Eligibility and Funding Parameters:
To be eligible for Micro Grant Funding, organizations must meet the following requirements:- Organization is located in Vermont and currently tax exempt under 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3)
- The organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors
- The organization has an annual budget size of $250,000 or less.1
- Funding supports activities in one or more of the following counties in Vermont: Caledonia, Essex, Orange, Orleans, Washington
- Grant funds will be used to purchase supplies and / or equipment
- Requested amount is $250 or less
- Funding may not be spent on any administrative, operating or fundraising costs
Submission:
Please complete the Micro Grant Application and submit with the requested information in the Project Summary section. To submit, save your letter using a file name that includes the name of your organization and email as an attachment to braymond@gmunitedway.org. 1 If your organization exists as a separate program with annual budget size of $250,000 or less but is under an umbrella 501(c)(3) organization with a larger annual budget, you may still be eligible for this funding. Email Becky at braymond@gmunitedway.org with any questions.
