2nd Annual Basketball Tournament and Free Throw Competition, May 16
The Hannaford Stores of Barre and Bradford, VT are holding their 2nd Annual Basketball and Free Throw Competition at the Williamstown High School Gymnasium on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. All proceeds of this event will be donated to Green Mountain United Way.
The first 20-minute half of basketball will be played between employees of both Hannaford stores and the Williamstown faculty. The final 20-minute half will feature Hannaford Barre employees vs. Hannaford Bradford employees.
In addition to watching a fun basketball game, spectators will also have the opportunity to cheer on the GMUW staff and others who will be taking part in the Free Throw Competition at half-time. If you would like to sponsor a staff member, please print the sponsorship form and submit it with your check the night of the event or by mailing to GMUW, 963 Paine Turnpike N #2, Montpelier, VT 05602.
The school's concession stand will be open, barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs will be available and a sale of snacks and baked goods will also be held.
