North Country Hospital Kicks Off Fundraising Campaign

North Country Hospital (NCH) President and CEO, Claudio Fort, recently met with Wendy Franklin, NCH Director of Development and Madeleine Roy, Community Development and Marketing Director for Green Mountain United Way (GMUW) to kick off the 2011 – 2012 fundraising campaign. His personal pledges through payroll deduction are in support of both the hospital’s Annual Fund and GMUW’s annual campaign. “We can all make a difference in our local area’s needs, no matter the size of our philanthropic contributions,” said Fort.

GMUW collaborates with several other non-profit organizations to help people of the area to become more financially stable, to live healthier lives, to promote early childhood learning and to provide for basic needs. One example of such collaboration is GMUW’s role in HealthWorks ONE (Orleans/No. Essex) with several hospital employees and others, who together promote healthy choices.
